As a partner at EY, Vishal Gupta provides expertise
in US generally accepted accounting principles,
implementation and testing of internal controls
over financial reporting in accordance with Sarbanes
Oxley Act (SOX), and evaluation of business processes.
He also provides valuable insights to improve efficiency
of operations and effectiveness of internal controls.
Gupta’s vast audit experience includes SOX start
up, quarterly reviews (10Q), purchase accounting,
bond financing/refinancing, and year end reporting
(10k, press releases). Over the course of his career,
Gupta has gained an in-depth exposure to the business
environment across various industries including health-
care, biotech, manufacturing, software, real estate and
mining industries. He has lead projects that involve a
close cooperation not only with other EY departments
(such as transaction advisory, technical advisory, tax, IT
and legal) but also with external attorneys, investment
bankers, and financial institutions.
