Ruth Baldauf, CPA, is the controller at PARTNER Engineering and Science, Inc. She started her tenure with PARTNER almost 13 years ago. At the time, she was not a CPA, and CEO Joe Derhake asked her if she would step up and take on the accounting role. From that moment, she has embraced working tirelessly and running a tight ship.
Baldauf was instrumental in PARTNER’s largest acquisition of Birdsall Services Group (BSG) in 2013. The purchase included BSG’s accounts receivable, physical assets, select contracts, project files, intellectual property, and license agreements. It also included the assets of CMX Engineering and the PMK Group. Baldauf has also been involved in multiple software implementations. She transitioned PARTNER to several ERPs from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics GP and to Deltek Vision. She also has negotiated many vendor contracts that have benefited PARTNER’s bottom line.
