Matt Barnet started his career at Crowe in 2016 as an audit staffer in Chicago. He quickly realized the opportunity to help Crowe expand its presence on the West Coast and agreed to join the Los Angeles practice in 2019. Barnet has been an instrumental leader in developing Crowe’s West Coast audit practice. With his focus on mid-market, publicly traded companies, he has contributed to Crowe’s double-digit growth in Los Angeles.
Barnet works closely with his clients to navigate the challenging compliance environment for SEC registrants. He has worked with clients in multiple industries as they grow and navigate the requirements of adopting a structure of internal control under Sar- banes-Oxley. One of Crowe’s fastest upcoming leaders, Barnet has quickly integrated himself into the Los Angeles business community and is looked to as a trusted advisor by the companies he serves.
