Carolyn Ramsay

Carolyn Ramsay has worked in Los Angeles park development through grass-roots advocacy, non-profit management and city government for 20 years. Prior to becoming Executive Director of the Los Angeles Parks Foundation, she was Chief of Staff to the late Los Angeles City Councilmember Tom LaBonge as well as serving as the Los Angeles Program Director for the Trust for Public Land. Prior to her career in public service, she was an award-winning journalist working for a wide variety of publications including People Magazine and the Stamford Advocate in Connecticut. She is married to public interest consultant Andy Goodman. They have two children, Daniel Goodman, a podcast producer for iHeart Radio and Olivia Goodman, who is completing her second year at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine in Pasadena.
