DANIELLE WILLIAMS
Analyst
Avante Capital Partners
Danielle Williams has been a rising star at Avante Capital Partners since she joined the firm in 2019 as manager partner Ivelisse Rodriguez Simon’s assistant and to support the firm’s marketing efforts. Williams has continued to work her way up in the firm, now serving as an analyst and supporting the fundraising team. She is also responsible for identifying, underwriting, executing and managing investment opportunities. Prior to her ascension at Avante Capital Partners, she was an office services assistant at Latham and Watkins in San Diego. Williams graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. During her undergrad, she was a student-athlete on the Michigan Women’s Basketball team for four years. Her experiences with high-level college basketball have provided a competitive advantage for her in the finance industry. She comfortably excels in a corporate environment while working with teams and individuals, finding ways to win in today’s market. Williams also holds a Master of Management degree from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Williams has been heavily involved in supporting Avante Capital Partners’ Small Business Investing Scholars Internship Program since its inception, which helps to bridge the gap between the industry and students who may not otherwise have exposure to certain positions or firms. From its launch in 2020 to 2024, the program expanded from hosting nine interns to 40 interns with 31 SBIC firms participating. Last year, the program received a record number of over 1,300 students applying to participate in the opportunity.
