Over the past 18 months, Cyrus Nikou, founder & managing partner of Atar Capital, led three standout transactions that reflect Atar Capital’s distinctive approach to complex, value-creation-driven dealmaking. First, in October 2024, Nikou orchestrated the acquisition of Kendrion N.V.’s automotive business by Atar and its affiliate Solero Technologies, a cross-border carve-out encompassing $231 million in divested revenues across the US and Europe and an EBITDA of $25 million. Second, in January 2026, he directed Keypoint Intelligence’s acquisition of DataMaster Online, a Paris-based IT and printing evaluation firm, representing Keypoint’s third international add-on under Atar’s ownership. That deal set the stage for a full exit of Keypoint Intelligence to Constellation Software’s Total Specific Solutions in May 2026, capping a seven-year hold. Third, also in January 2026, Nikou successfully exited Frontier Integrity Solutions, Atar Capital’s very first acquisition, originally carved out in December 2016, through a management buyout that rewarded FIS’s leadership team and marked a full-cycle value creation story spanning nearly a decade. Nikou’s standout professional achievements are evidenced by Atar Capital’s impressive portfolio growth since its 2016 founding. The team has completed 90+ transactions across 18 countries, and the firm actively manages 12 global portfolio companies and employs more than 14,500 people, all through a hands-on, operationally intensive model that sets Atar apart from conventional lower-middle-market PE firms.
