The CBRE team led by John Hillman with Jeff Stephens, Brian Held and Bob Healey played a pivotal role in securing a vital lease for Los Angeles Sanitation and Environment’s Livability Services Division (LSD).
The LSD consolidates several essential integrated programs designed to provide comprehensive services to the City, addressing and removing health and safety hazards, as well as solid waste from public areas. When a unique property became available for lease, the team proactively reached out to the City of Los Angeles, leveraging CBRE’s strong private/public partnership. The property, with its mix of ofÿces, employee parking, truck parking and warehouse facilities, was an ideal ÿt for this critical city service division. The team was able to ensure that the landlord met all the City’s requirements, including demolishing the buildings at 450 and 590 S. Central to create additional parking and investing in signiÿcant enhancements to the building’s interiors and exteriors.
