As VP of Finance & Business Operations at Dibbs, AJ Mildenberg, CFA, CAIA has successfully led the team to become the first GAAP compliant fractional NFT marketplace for real-world assets. Along with this achievement, Mildenberg has managed all finances, budgets, and board presentations along with the company’s general financial strategy.

Mildenberg brings financial stewardship to Dibbs’ mission to help brands, enterprises, and intellectual property creators find liquidity in often illiquid asset class by building deeper, more authentic, and monetizable connections with their communities by safely and securely creating a digital asset which represents the ownership of their physical collectibles. Mildenberg, as with the rest of Dibbs’ team, is wholly focused on becoming the most trusted platform in the world for the minting and redeeming of collectible-backed digital tokens.

AJ also currently sits as the Chairman of the Fintech Advisory Council for CFA Los Angeles, establishing educational events to teach charterholders about current trends in the fintech space. As an avid supporter of the CFA LA society, Mildenberg also participates yearly as a mentor in the society’s career development program, connecting and teaching younger members about the financial industry and how to succeed in it.

Mildenberg brings to Dibbs experience developed from a varied career in finance, venture capital, consulting, and operations. Mildenberg began his career in 2012, when he co-founded a business as the chief financial officer at TappedIn. From 2013 to 2016, AJ worked at Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford as an inside broker, handling Directors & Officers, Errors & Omissions and other business insurance. During this time, he also held a consultant role at GenYrator, an accelerator for Venture Capital for University of Southern California (of which AJ is a proud alumni) based Startups. From 2016-2020, Mildenberg worked at Wilshire Associates as a consultant and senior financial analyst, becoming an expert in fintech SaaS analytics and business strategy. In 2020, AJ moved to FarmFundr and as the first finance hire he managed all aspects of the startups financial planning and strategy.
