KFWB-AM (980) is ending its newstalk format a week earlier than planned.
Individual show hosts on the station, including “Money 101” producer Ken Jeffries,” were signing off on Friday, saying it was their last day.
The station, which has languished near the bottom of L.A. radio ratings, was scheduled to convert to all-sports programming at the end of this month.
There was no immediate word on air from the station on when the sports programming will begin. Emails to station executives were not immediately returned.
