Brynn Shaffer joined the Los Angeles Business Journal in July 2023 as a real estate reporter. As a freelance journalist, her byline has appeared in the San Diego Union Tribune, SpaceRef, Pasadena Weekly, National Catholic Reporter, the Argonaut, the LION, and she has freelanced audio to NPR.

Brynn is a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University holding a BA in both Journalism and International Relations. During her time at LMU, Brynn worked as a copy editor for the Los Angeles Loyolan, and served as the vice president and co-founder of LMU’s campus chapter of SPJ.

Outside of journalism, Brynn enjoys photography, fashion, getting outside, and exploring new coffee shops around L.A.
