Taylor Fowler is a preconstruction manager at one of Los Angeles County’s leading self-performing general contractors, DPR Construction. With more than 12 years of experience at DPR Construction, Fowler has been an integral part of the preconstruction process at all phases of design. She is also part of the Southern California business unit leadership team, assisting with both local and national operations and business development strategies.
Focusing primarily on technical projects in life sciences and healthcare, Fowler has worked to improve traditional preconstruction workflows, utilizing lean practices and model-based costing tools to inform design. She led the preconstruction team on the UHS Behavioral Health project in Chino Hills, which worked as an integrated team to design and install the very first prefinished prefabricated exterior wall panels through OSHPD I, breaking new ground and setting a new precedent in OSHPD – the statewide department that monitors healthcare infrastructure.
