Director of Construction
Goldrich Kest
Elise Johnson has overcome multiple barriers as an African American female in the construction industry. She spent years coming up through the trades gaining credibility through experience and education to become the new face of construction and department head at Goldrich Kest.
After serving in the US Marine Corps, she became aware of the need for further education and leadership training to compete in construction as a woman.  With an M.S. in Engineering Management & Leadership, she joined GK in 2018 as a project manager thinking she would start slowing down to prepare for retirement. Her skills were put to the test, and she rose to the challenge. In two short years she was chosen to build and lead a team that is tasked to partner and align itself with GK’s KPIs of growth and engagement to become a leader in the industry.
