Barbara Armendariz is president and founder of SharpLine Commercial Partners, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm that excels at putting its clients’ needs first. She is one of very few minority women in the commercial real estate industry that has started her own brokerage firm. That and the fact that her firm is headquartered in Los Angeles — one of the most competitive markets in the country is even more impressive. Her career in real estate spans more than 16 years. Prior to founding SharpLine, Armendariz served as Vice President at CBRE and was at Colliers International before that. During her tenure at these firms, she mastered the research, analytical strategies, and other key skills needed to execute successful transactions. She saw opportunities that she wasn’t able to attain in a large firm and decided that she would launch her own firm in order to realize her full potential as a broker.
