Bita Ardalan is managing director and head of commercial banking for Union Bank. As leader of a business with a 150+ year history on the West Coast, Ardalan sets its strategic vision and heads a high-caliber team. Ardalan directly oversees 200 team members in 21 regional and satellite offices, and more than 200 partners supporting her team. In September of 2019, Ardalan became responsible for the Commercial Credit Services group.
Ardalan is a member of the Regional Bank Executive Committee, the decision making body for MUFG Union Bank’s Regional Bank; a primary voting member of the Regional Bank’s Deal Screening Committee; and she sits on the Governance Committees for various transformation efforts, including the Commercial Loan Operating System Enhancement, the End-to-End Credit Simplification, and Libor Transition initiatives. Under Ardalan’s leadership, Commercial Banking is on a steady upward trajectory.
