Perrie Weiner is the Partner in Charge of Baker McKenzie’s Los Angeles office and Chair of the Firm’s North America Securities Litigation Group. With over 30 years of experience, Weiner’s practice focuses on securities litigation and enforcement matters and complex business litigation. He advises private equity funds, including hedge funds, broker-dealers, underwriters, placement agents and issuers in SEC and FINRA enforcement proceedings, and in white collar criminal proceedings. In addition, he defends both underwriters and issuers in securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and takeover defense litigation.
Weiner also has an active complex business litigation practice, including representing a broad spectrum of clients in consumer class actions involving claimed violations of the Right to Privacy, Automatic Renewal Law, false and deceptive advertising, Section 17200 and RICO. Weiner joined Baker McKenzie earlier this year, coming from DLA Piper, where he served as managing partner of the Century City office.
