As co-chair of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s national labor and employment practice, Vicente helps companies develop forward-thinking compliance strategies that mitigate employment-related risks while achieving the client’s business goals.
Most recently, Vicente creatively advised a variety of businesses through workforce issues attendant to closing, reopening, and operating a business during the unprecedented challenges created by COVID-19. She has successfully led her own team through many of these same challenges. She also has spoken and written about the novel issues facing employers arising from the pandemic. Also, addressing what has been described as the second pandemic in our country – systemic racism and inequality – she serves as a co-chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion committee.
