One of her most recent high-profile cases was Depp et al. v. The Mandel Company, Inc. This matter was a very high-profile dispute involving the actor Johnny Depp wrongfully accusing his long-time business manager TMG of professional negligence and fraud in connection with its handling of Depp’s financial affairs over a 17-year period. On behalf of TMG, MacIsaac filed a cross-complaint and filed a complaint for judicial foreclosure on certain of Depp’s real properties, which secured a $5 million loan that TMG made to Depp back in December 2012. The matter, which was heavily litigated for 18 months, received international attention. All of the lawsuits were dismissed in August 2018.
