Los Angeles
The Dulan family has been in the Los Angeles community for more than 40 years. Their quest for appealing to the palettes of the Los Angeles community started with a small burger stand called Hamburger City with their father, the late “King of Soul Food,” Adolf Dulan. It was his spirit of entrepreneurship that pioneered the famous “Aunt Kizzy’s Back Porch.” And in the 1980s, the Dulans’ chain of restaurants was born.
Brothers Greg and Terry Dulan have revolutionized “dinner around the family table,” with their three soul-tastic locations in Los Angeles. In addition to operating their restaurants, the Dulan family implemented the Adolf A. Dulan Entrepreneurial Scholarship fund in 2017 sending two local students to the prestigious HBCU, Howard University for undergraduate studies. The Dulan restaurants also annually sponsor a number of other charitable events and causes.
