Madhu Pocha is a steadfast leader of O’Melveny’s diversity and inclusion efforts. As co-chair of the Century City office’s local Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, he has led the firm’s efforts in this year of racial reckoning to advance issues of racial and social justice affecting the office, firm, and broader
community.
A versatile litigator, Pocha counsels corporate, government and pro bono clients on high-stakes matters spanning disparate disciplines, from antitrust and bankruptcy to environmental and entertainment law. He is currently representing the Government of Puerto Rico in litigation as part of its historic bankruptcy proceedings – the first time for a US territory – which will impact the future of the island’s three million residents. He is also advising the country’s largest homebuilder in a constellation of complex environmental and regulatory cases concerning the redevelopment of the former Hunters Point Naval Base in San Francisco.
