Cyndie Chang is a dynamic and inspirational leader in her law firm and the legal industry. She was president of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) in 2016-17, which serves as the national voice of the APA legal community, and the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association (SCCLA). She is on Duane Morris LLP’s governing Partners Board and is the firm’s Los Angeles managing partner, the first Asian American female to serve in that role in the firm’s over 100 year history.
She is also an experienced trial litigator, who is passionate about understanding and partnering with her clients in identifying business concerns, creatively resolving disputes, and mitigating risk and litigation. She has tried cases to verdict as first chair in various venues, but has also avoided cases from litigation through listening and identifying practical solutions and opportunities for settlement.
