Dr. Tanaz Ferzandi, MD, MBA, MA lends energy and business expertise at the board level of her specialty. She is continuously working to promote clinical care at all levels so that the younger generation of physicians can have a strong woman in the field as a role model. She is also a leader in the area of innovative product development. As a woman surgeon who routinely has to weave through hurdles, she continues to pave the way for the latter generations to follow. Keeping clinically active, surgically innovative and teaching has been instrumental in gaining a “seat at the table” for changes that are necessary in medicine.
