Sang W. Lee, MD, is one of the nation’s leading experts in laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery and endoluminal surgery. With more than 20 years in practice, he has pioneered a non-invasive surgical technique called CELS (combined endolaparoscopic surgery), which removes the large colon and rectal polyps not amendable for colonoscopic removal while avoiding bowel resection. Dr. Lee has invented a low-cost vacuum dressing to prevent surgical infections. Dr. Lee has edited four textbooks in surgery and published more than 85 manuscripts.
