For over two decades, Valerie Goo, managing partner of Crowell & Moring’s Los Angeles office, has represented some of the world’s leading companies in complex litigation involving trademark infringement, unfair competition, trade secrets, false advertising, and consumer class actions. She has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts across the country and holds a successful record representing clients in commercial litigation and intellectual property matters, including eight- and nine-figure disputes.
Goo represents several large companies in fiercely fought trademark and trade secret cases between competitors. Some example clients she has achieved recent successes for include Lockheed Martin and Molson Coors. She also obtained a unanimous defense verdict in consumer class action after a two-week jury trial in federal court on behalf of the world’s leading manufacturer of homeopathic drugs – a matter that was selected as one of the California Daily Journal’s 2016 “Defense Verdicts of the Year.”
