Nita Parikh started at Jackson Lewis as a junior associate and was elevated to principal in 2009. At that time, she predominantly litigated employment cases, including trials and disability access matters. After having children and seeking work-life flexibility, she led the cause for parental resources at the firm as one of the first alternative work arrangement attorneys. In 2015, Parikh transitioned to an administrative leadership role at the request of the firm’s leadership.
In her role today, among other things, Parikh has developed attorney productivity and performance, attorney workloads, attorney transitions, associate training, hiring and attorney and a variety of staff-related matters. This role includes overseeing the mentoring and professional development of associates. Parikh’s position as a leader has been crucial to the strength and position of Jackson Lewis in the Los Angeles market. Parikh is fiercely committed to the development of the Los Angeles office and its attorneys.
