To date, Said R. Beydoun, MD, FAAN has trained 60 fellows as a Fellowship Program director. His work mentoring fellows and training young physicians in neuromuscular medicine and clinical neurophysiology has received USC Department of Neurology Teaching Awards. He has also been principal investigator in more than 60 Â clinical research studies in multiple domains in neuromuscular medicine mainly in the field of myasthenia gravis, multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN), chronic inflammatory demyelinating neuropathy (CIDP), Â amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and diabetic neuropathy.
