Dr. Rachel Chapman joined the faculty at CHLA/USC Keck School of Medicine and has been the Medical Director of the NICCU since 2016. Her main area of scholarly interest is in clinical/outcomes research, quality improvement, and education related to Neonatal ECMO and congenital diaphragmatic hernia in the neonate. Â She has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and abstracts, in addition to chapters and review articles, and was named a member of the Society for Pediatric Research. She is nationally recognized for her expertise in ECMO and given multiple invited talks related to neonatal ECMO.
