Dr. Maita Kuvhenguhwa holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of California Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine and the Charles R. Drew University/UCLA Medical Education Program. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Infectious Diseases, and is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. She is one of the most visible community leaders for educating the public and has appeared on a number of local broadcasts to share her knowledge regarding the coronavirus.
