Dr. Joseph Ouzounian has worked in healthcare his entire professional career, and has been dedicated to academic medicine for decades.  His research is in the area of clinical obstetrics, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications, books, and book chapters produced.  In addition, he maintains a vibrant and active clinical practice where he takes care of patients with complex maternal and fetal disorders.  In his practice he sees private patients but also works on teaching service at the LAC+USC Medical Center, which is a large tertiary safety-net hospital caring for the most vulnerable patients in the County. He is also training a new generation of women’s healthcare physicians.
