Guy Mayeda MD, FACC, FSCAI is an interventional cardiovascular specialist with additional expertise in endovascular interventions for coronary artery disease, critical limb ischemia, dialysis access shunt failures and aortic aneurysms/dissections. Dr. Mayeda has been in practice as an interventional cardiologist since 1995. He is currently the president of Los Angeles Cardiology Associates and chief of the Vascular Program for PIH Health Physicians. Dr. Mayeda finds that the most gratifying aspect of interventional cardiology is the ability to quickly intervene and treat patients with acute life-threatening illnesses and restore them to their former functional status.
