Ashwin Ashok MD joined PIH Health in 2013 as a valued member of the organization’s Digestive Health Services team, a group of experts specializing in gastrointestinal health. He currently serves as section chief in Gastroenterology at PIH Health where he oversees inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology/Hepatology consultation, general endoscopy and advanced endoscopy. He derives the most satisfaction from caring for patients with digestive and liver disorders. Trained in advanced endoscopic treatments, Dr. Ashok manages cirrhosis, chronic liver disease, hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, GERD, and other general GI issues. Dr. Ashok also offers his advanced training and expertise in Endoscopic Ultrasound.
