De La Merced has served as co-trial counsel in various arbitration and court proceedings and has been instrumental in securing favorable results for the firm and its clients. One accomplishment was serving as co-trial counsel and securing a complete victory on behalf of a pharmaceutical company in a two-week arbitration proceeding in a bet-the-company case against the company’s former business partner. He served as co-trial counsel in one of the first fully virtual bench trials in Los Angeles Superior Court due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which occurred in early February 2021.
