Ben Wang is a partner at Russ August & Kabat. He represents clients in business and intellectual property disputes, particularly in patent and trade secret trials and appeals. He recently served as lead counsel in a patent jury trial that resulted in a verdict in favor of his client on all issues and damages, and found willful infringement. The court then enhanced the amount of damages by 100%, awarding Wang’s client over $15 million.
Wang was recently second chair in a patent jury trial and obtained a verdict in favor of his client on all issues and damages of $3.1 million. He also recently won an appeal against Meta before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, reversing a summary judgement ruling; argued over 20 substantive motions before U.S. District Courts and before the International Trade Commission; and obtained settlements or damages for clients in excess of $20 million.
