Susan Vargas is a partner in King & Spalding’s Trial and Global Disputes group. She defends leading manufacturers of automobiles, consumer products, pharmaceutical products and medical devices in high stakes litigation. She represents Allergan, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Lamborghini and Volkswagen, among others. As a former in-house lawyer, Vargas brings a unique approach to product liability cases. She knows how to balance the legal, business and budgetary constraints every general counsel must contend with in high profile cases. Susan is sought after by companies for her results oriented approach and her ability to minimize the drain on corporate resources from protracted discovery disputes. She was recently selected as national counsel for luxury sports car company Lamborghini and also recently led a team that won two summary judgment motions and three summary adjudication motions in hotly contested product liability lawsuits for Johnson & Johnson, among other high profile matters.
