Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys -Roman Silberfeld

Roman Silberfeld
National Trial Chair and Los Angeles Partner
Robins Kaplan LLP

When Robins Kaplan decided to name its first-ever national trial chair, the choice was obvious. Roman Silberfeld, the firm’s managing partner in Los Angeles for over two decades, has earned more than 80 trial victories, including the biggest award ever granted in a Hollywood accounting lawsuit ($319 million with interest) over profits from ABC’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” Over more than 45 years and across wide-ranging subject matter, he has established a record of courtroom success aided by an easy-going, gentlemanly manner that has won over scores of judges and juries. Silberfeld has played a major role in multiple mass tort and complex litigation matters. He has achieved trial and appellate victories in contract, antitrust, product liability, intellectual property, and professional negligence litigation. He recently served as co-lead counsel for the country in a national class action against Wells Fargo that yielded a settlement of $432.4 million.
