Daniel Rozansky is at the forefront of Hollywood’s most high-stakes disputes, including Hollywood Unlocked, Inc. and Jason Lee Johnson v. Lifetime Entertainment Services, A&E Television Networks, Home Brewed Productions for which Rozansky served as lead counsel for defendants in a copyright and right of publicity violations claim over defendants’ use of a clip from an interview with celebrity recording artist K. Michelle discussing the sexual assault allegations against R. Kelly. Defendants incorporated the clip in “Surviving R. Kelly” season 2. The case was dismissed. He also served as lead trial counsel for Funrise in a licensing dispute against Space Race, the rights holder and producer of television series “Space Racers.” Funrise received a complete defense verdict ($1.065 million) after a 10-day arbitration.
