Jacqueline Casillas, MD, M.S.H.S., is a board-certified pediatric hematologist/oncologist and serves as the medical director of Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Institute at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach. Her research focus includes being the principle site investigator of the Children’s Oncology Group at Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Institute, offering clinical trials to pediatric cancer patients from birth to young adulthood. Her research portfolio also has been funded independently by the National Cancer Institute and is focused on ensuring access to care and assessment of quality of life for pediatric, adolescent and young adult cancer survivors, particularly in diverse, underserved communities.
