Chirag Shah is the Chief Financial Officer for Cornerstone and is responsible for optimizing the financial performance of the company. He has spent over a decade at Cornerstone in a variety of leadership capacities in the areas of strategy, finance and corporate development.
Prior to his role as CFO, Chirag was the Senior Vice President & General Manager, Growth Markets, where he led the global Content business, as well as Cornerstone’s efforts in both the Asia-Pacific & Japan (APJ) region and global small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment, which collectively represented the company’s three most significant growth investments.
As the Vice President, Finance & Strategy, he provided oversight over corporate strategic planning and budgeting, investor relations, global pricing and corporate development. Earlier in his tenure at Cornerstone, Chirag helped spearhead the company’s successful initial public offering, which was completed in March 2011. Prior to joining Cornerstone in 2009, Chirag was an investment banker focused on mergers and acquisitions.
Chirag is passionate about supporting causes that help alleviate the impact of economic inequality on children. He previously served as a Board Member for the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles and worked with Reading Partners, a non-profit focused on improving literacy levels of children from low-income communities.
Chirag holds a B.S. from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
