During much of Dr. Nick Shillingford’s time at Children’s Hospital LA, he has served as the director of the Pediatric Pathology Fellowship program. Under his stewardship the program has consistently achieved a board pass rate of over 90% and has produced some of the most capable pediatric pathologists in the region.
Dr. Shillingford also serves as site director for pediatric pathology training of USC residents, a rotation that has consistently received much praise and some of the highest scores on resident evaluations.
His service to residents is extended beyond USC to local institutions through lectures and interactive sessions in pediatric pathology.
