Health Care Leadership Forum & Awards: Cloudbreak Health – Health Care Supplier of the Year

HEALTH CARE SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR

CLOUDBREAK HEALTH

Cloudbreak Health offers a simple, flexible, and cost-effective platform for hospitals and health providers to access a full suite of telehealth solutions on a variety of devices. Cloudbreak’s telemedicine solutions are currently being used in more than 1,000 healthcare venues nationwide and performing over 90,000 encounters per month, making it one of the most widely utilized telemedicine platforms in the country.

When patients and health care providers speak different languages, Cloudbreak’s platform enables them to communicate in real-time through a live medical interpreter, cutting the risk of incorrect drug or treatment diagnosis. Cloudbreak is innovating by streamlining telemedicine and language services into the first unified telehealth platform in the country, which supports multiple specialists on a single call. This results in better healthcare outcomes and saves patients and providers time and money.

The Martti platform (short for “My Accessible Real-Time Trusted Interpreter”) is Cloudbreak’s flagship solution. Martti breaks down language and cultural barriers by enabling quick and easy communication with patients who are LEP or Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing (DHH) via live video or telephone. The platform has provided more than 26 million minutes of medical interpretation to upwards of two million patients. More than 250 languages (including American Sign Language) are offered, with nearly 60 languages available in live video — the largest video offering in the industry. As we move to a majority-minority country, demand for Cloudbreak’s service is expected to grow rapidly.

With over 9,000 video endpoints throughout its partners, Cloudbreak is improving accessibility for all healthcare venues to leverage the power of telemedicine. In fact, Cloudbreak has put more iPad Pros into the field than almost any other company in healthcare. Adoption for the service has been strong with the company experiencing almost 50% revenue growth in each of the last three years. Cloudbreak’s clients have reported anecdotally that care access has been improved and healthcare disparities significantly reduced through working with the service.
