NATALIE SWANSON
Principal Counsel
Riot Games
Natalie Swanson has spent the better part of a decade working as in-house counsel at Riot Games, a leading video game developer and esports tournament organizer based in West Los Angeles and best known for League of Legends, a multiplayer online battle arena game.
As principal counsel, she handles labor and employment, music and content licensing, intellectual property enforcement, vendor agreements and general transactional work for the game maker. This is an enormous task given the reach and size of Riot Games, which operates 24 offices around the globe and employs 2,500 people. What is extraordinary about Swanson is the command she has on such a diverse portfolio of responsibilities.
