Kevani Inc. has been awarded advertising sales rights for a digital billboard in downtown Los Angeles.

The downtown-based media sales and developer will offer an advertising opportunity using a full-motion media display at Figueroa Street and Chick Hearn Court, in the heart of the entertainment district.

The billboard, called Fig Spectacular, is surrounded by destinations including LA Live and the Microsoft Theater, as well as upscale restaurants, hotels and residences. The highly visible display sits directly across from the entrance of the Crypto.com arena.

The asset is placed above a busy intersection with both pedestrian and vehicular traffic, giving brands an opportunity to place their campaigns in front of an audience of millions each month, a release from the company said.

Kevin Bartanian, founder and chief executive of Kevani, said the company was delighted to have been awarded the contract for such a highly recognizable asset.

“This exciting new agreement is an important win for us and a complementary addition to our existing world-class advertising assets,” Bartanian said in a statement. “Los Angeles is simply unrivaled when it comes to out-of-home audiences.”

Fig Spectacular adds to Kevani’s growing portfolio of media destinations in the greater Los Angeles area, the company’s release added.

In December, the company announced it had signed an exclusive agreement with Forum Entertainment, the owner and operator of the Kia Forum in Inglewood, to operate The Trio, a set of three digital billboards located near the Forum, SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park Casino that will target travelers and commuters as well as entertainment and sports enthusiasts.

“This win is a milestone in our Los Angeles (area) growth strategy, boosting our curated media offering and reinforcing our commitment to creative and sustainable concepts for the greater benefit of people, advertisers, and property owners,” Bartanian said in a statement at the time. “We look forward to going live with an innovative, premium, and full-motion digital offer in one of the most exciting and vibrant cities in the country.”

In addition to the Fig Spectacular and The Trio, Kevani operates digital billboards at Melrose and Spaulding avenues in Melrose, Hollywood Boulevard and Gramercy Place in Hollywood, Sunset Boulevard and Cassil Place in Hollywood and at the Marriott Downtown at Olympic Boulevard and Francisco Street.
