THE LATEST: Antrobius oversees the Los Angeles/Orange County portfolio for real estate logistics firm Prologis, which expanded in Southern California and other markets through last year’s $8.5 billion acquisition of DCT Industrial Trust Inc. With that deal, San Francisco-based Prologis added 71 million square feet to its overall portfolio, including 7.5 million square feet in development and redevelopment projects, and 305 acres of predevelopment land. In May, Bloomberg reported Prologis was in talks to purchase Singapore warehouse owner GLP Pte. Ltd.’s U.S. operations.

BACKGROUND: Antrobius manages 30 million square feet for more than 500 customers in Southern California. In 2006, he helped open Prologis’ Cerritos office, which is now the company’s Southwest Region headquarters. Antrobius was previously senior vice president at Trammell Crow. He got his start as an industrial broker with Colliers International in 1989. He is on the board of the Los Angeles chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.

WORTH NOTING: The American Industrial Real Estate Association recognized Antrobius for completing the most industrial deals in Southern California for five consecutive years from 1996-2000. CoStar Group Inc. named him one of Los Angeles’ top 25 “Power Brokers” in 2002 and 2003.
