THE LATEST: The health system changed its name in May from Citrus Valley Medical Center to Emanate Health as part of a larger effort to rebrand the company. In April, the hospital system launched a new initiative to integrate electronic health records from all Emanate sites.
BACKGROUND: Curry joined the San Gabriel Valley-based health system in 2008 after serving as chief executive and president of O’Connor Hospital in San Jose. He has held executive positions with hospital systems in Arizona, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Curry is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has been involved with several philanthropic organizations including the American Heart Association, United Way, YMCA and Rotary International.
WORTH NOTING: Emanate will kick off a $100 million capital campaign this year to fund an expansion of the emergency department at its Queen of the Valley hospital including a 24-bed intensive care unit.
