Eric Wedbush is the chairman of Wedbush & Co. He has been investing in and advising private and public middle-market companies for more than 20 years and currently directs the company’s investment activities and oversees its strategic initiatives. His investment includes leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth equity, negotiated investments into public companies, and venture capital. His areas of expertise include consumer products and services, basic manufacturing, financial services, environmental and specialty retailing. He started his private equity career with Wedbush Capital Partners. He is on the boards of Wedbush Securities, Lime Brokerage and the UCLA Anderson School of Management Price Center. He also serves as a managing director of Wedbush Capital Partners and is the president of Wedbush Asset Management. He holds degrees from California State University-San Diego and the Anderson School at UCLA.
