Jeff Glassman is chairman of Covington Capital Management. He previously served as chief executive of the downtown Los Angeles investment adviser, which manages more than $2.5 billion in assets for individuals, families, trusts and foundations. Glassman, a lawyer for more than 30 years, specialized in estate planning, probate and trust administration. He previously served as a principal in the firm of Riordan and McKinzie. He is chairman emeritus of the board of the Los Angeles Jewish Home and also serves on the boards of the Wallis Foundation, the Mark Hughes Foundation, the Riordan Foundation, the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, ArtCenter College of Design, Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles and the Skirball Cultural Center. Glassman is also a member of the board of trustees of Loyola Marymount University

What was your proudest moment?

My proudest moments are having helped create three enduring Los Angeles organizations – the Los Angeles Police Foundation, the Getty House Foundation and the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission.
