Linda Michaelson is practice group leader of Sheppard Mullin’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group and is based in the firm’s Century City office. Michaelson’s practice focuses on the representation of companies involved in corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on the entertainment, digital media and technology industries. She represents major motion picture studios, television networks, independent production companies, digital media companies, investors and other institutional entertainment, media and convergence clients in strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and other corporate finance transactions around the world. Recent transactions include representing Sony Pictures Entertainment, Lakeshore Entertainment and Lions Gate Entertainment, Inc. in connection with their M&A and other corporate transactions. She is also a member of the board of directors and Executive Committee of Bet Tzedek, a pro bono legal services organization (2011-present).
