Priya Sopori is an equity partner with Greenberg Glusker, the founder and chair of its Cannabis Industry Group, and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. Her diverse civil practice is an outgrowth of her years of working at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Central District of California. As an award-winning federal criminal prosecutor, she indicted dozens of diverse cases, ranging from white-collar fraud and cybercrime to interference with aviation and sex crimes.
Since joining Greenberg Glusker, Sopori’s clients have included entertainment companies as well as high-profile and high-net-worth individuals in a wide variety of disputes ranging from breach of contract, employment discrimination, marital dissolution, intellectual property, international film financing and distribution, securities, wrongful death, white-collar crime, licensing agreements for music and internet and television rights. Many of her matters involve counseling clients through sensitive issues involving confidential and private information, requiring attention to media issues as well.
