Rodina Vatanparast, MD is a board-certified physician specializing in Hematology and Oncology at PIH Health. Dr. Vatanparast began her medical training early at King Drew Medical Magnet High School affiliated with UCLA Medical Center, where she had the opportunity to perform bench research in oncology. While there, her desire to care for people in their most vulnerable state using cutting-edge research/science and medical advancements drew her to hematology/oncology as a specialty. She has chaired a number of committees and published in major medical journals and has participated enrolled patients in more than 75 clinical trials.
