Board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine with a special interest in infectious diseases, Dr. Antonio Escobedo explains that medicine combines his love of science, “curiosity about why things go wrong” and desire to help people. Specializing in internal medicine enables Dr. Escobedo to develop ongoing relationships and empower his patients to make healthy life choices. Dr. Escobedo earned a bachelor of science degree at UC San Diego and a doctorate from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed an internal medicine residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and was awarded an infectious disease fellowship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Los Angeles.
