Demetria Graves attended Loyola Law School, and six months after passing the bar, opened her own family law practice in her hometown of Pasadena at the age of 25. Graves is currently a leading family law attorney, who has also become a Certified Family Law Specialist. She also serves as the Secretary of the Family Law Executive Committee with the California Lawyers Association and currently serves as the co-chair of the African American Alumni Association, Loyola Law School, assisting law school attendees to successfully complete law school. She is a mentor to several law students and young attorneys.
Graves is also an adjunct professor, and has taught at Abraham Lincoln Law School and West Los Angeles Community College. Additionally, she serves as a Judge Pro Tem with the Los Angeles Superior Court. She also has a podcast called “Legalish,” that discusses celebrity-related family law issues for those facing similar challenges.
